島根、鳥取

The thirty-eighth prefecture is Shimane, and the thirty-ninth is Tottori. This year is the anniversary of my father's 88 years old (in the traditional Japanese way of count) and my 25 years of continuous service in my company. 

Luckily the two events happened in the same year. My company union gives its members, who have been the union member for 25 years, a gift of 100,000 yen for a trip, and I accept that, of course.

This three-day/two-night trip is a gift to my father from his sons.

The first day's activity was almost only a travelling.

We visited Izumo Taisha Shrine and the Adachi Museum of Art on the second day.

We, brothers, didn't donate nor pray, but my father did as people usually do.

The Adachi Museum of Art was fantastic.

On the last day, we went to see the Tottori sand dunes.
