10/15 釣果

 The result of fishing on a Global Handwashing day.

It was dark, and I couldn't see anything when I arrived at the usual place. Because the sunrise was 5:59, I learned afterwards.

I can catch フグ always and have thrown off them usually, but this time I kept them.

9/12 釣果

 The result of fishing on a Universe day.

I give up sillago. It's a waste of time and strength. Japanese barracuda were few, but I don't abandon hope. Because last year, I caught Japanese barracudas till October.

I looked for the sillago's device that I mentioned last time and found them.

It was useful and nothing different from the usual sillago's device about fishing them, but I couldn't catch a flounder.

 The result of fishing on a Yakiniku Day.

I couldn't fish sillagos well. I think I can catch them more. The live baits sillagos for catching flounder were bitten by globefish, no matter where offshore or inshore.

Once, maybe a flounder bit the sillago that hooked on the sillago's device, not the flounder device.

It might be better to use a sillago's device with a big hook for flounder.

I always aim flathead in summer. Today, I prepared two fishing sets for flathead or fluke, but no bite.

There were quite many mullets (ボラ) repeatedly jumping out from the sea.

I caught a Richardson dragonet (メゴチ) that I rarely see in recent years.

8/7 釣果

 The result of fishing on a Nose day.

Today, I had planned I would use up worm baits that usually can't do. 

So, I used two fishing sets to catch sillagos. I used up the worm baits as I planned, but I'm not satisfied with the number of fish. I supposed I could catch nearly thirty sillagos if I would do well.

After using up baits, I went to the place where I caught many Hong Kong groupers, but I couldn't catch any of them.

I'm getting a bit worried that possibly I had caught all of them.

7/31 釣果

 The result of fishing on a Paraglider Anniversary.

I lost something whenever I go fishing. Today, I lost my anchor. To be precise, I had to leave it in the sea because it hooked the structure bottom of the sea.

I caught very small Japanese barracudas which became bites for Hong Kong groupers.

Today, I felt I could catch something big, or at least good fish. The prediction came true. At the end of fishing, I caught a fluke.

7/25 釣果

 The result of fishing on a Soldering day enacted by the Japan Soldering Association.

I didn't aim for horse mackerel or sillago, and today's objective was to avoid as much trouble as possible I could.

Except for one failure of losing a rig, I almost succeeded in the objective.

I finished fishing at 7 am because I used up firefly squid. I feel unsatisfied that only two kinds of fish.

I was fed up with all the trouble. I don't even want to remember the details to write this diary.

7/17 釣果

 The result of fishing on a World Day for International Justice.

I feel awful. I had lost fishing devices at the usual location last time and before the time.

This time, I paid attention to keeping my distance from supposed to be the dangerous point. Because of the changing of tidal current, my boat was getting close to the point, so I decided to move my boat to a farther location. Despite pulling up the device, it hooked something, and the whole fishing set dropped into the sea.

The location is cursed, or I am cursed?

Whatever, I'm satisfied with fishes that I caught.

7/13 釣果

 The result of fishing on an Anniversary of the establishment of Japan Standard Time.

I started fishing in the just middle of the usual location. Two fishing devices were hooked on something, and I lost them. I was not able to continue fishing horse mackerels.

Like last time, I lost my new burley cages again. Damn it!

6/27 釣果

 The result of fishing on Independence Day of the Republic of Djibouti.

I caught Hong Kong groupers at the usual location. The biggest one was 38cm.

 The result of fishing on a World Refugee Day.

I didn't try to fish horse mackerel today. Instead, I aimed at scorpionfishes and sillagos. I caught scorpionfishes easily, the same as the other day. Caught sillagos on the eastern side.

It was rain today. Fishing wearing a raincoat.
I took a lot of time to unravel a tangled sabiki rig. Meanwhile, the rain got heavier.
I gave up continue fishing.

6/5 釣果

 The result of fishing on a World Environment Day.

The new rod, three meters long, is pretty useful. I realized that using a 2.7-meter rod with an over 2.7-meter device was unreasonable.

After caught big and small horse mackerels, moved to the eastern side. Caught scorpionfishes one after another, as soon as throw in the device hooked with firefly squid. After using up firefly squids, I used soft lures, but there was no bite.

Caught the Hong Kong grouper by a small horse mackerel.

Before starting fishing, the northern sky was beautiful.

 The result of fishing on a Consumers' Day.

When I was about to take the boat out to sea, I tumbled into the boat and smashed the tip of the rod.

I used another short rod for fishing horse mackerel but caught only mackerel scads (second from bottom in the picture).

FYI, mackerel scad is not tasty as horse mackerel.

I totally had lost motivation.

5/20 釣果

I overslept and started fishing at least one hour later than usual. But, horse mackerels' appetite hadn't diminished. It might because it was cloudy.

Caught this year's first Hongkong grouper! The fat greenling was almost the same size, 35cm, as the last one.

It's the first fishing of 2021. The same as the first day of last year, I was able to catch many good-sized horse mackerels. I believed I could catch scorpionfish, and I was right. I didn't expect a fat greenling (アイナメ).
