I watched a YouTube video which explained how to prune roses. It also mentioned buds that were supposed not to be bloomed. It said they might bloom if you take care of them like this.

Japanese barracuda wasn't there. Caught good-sized horse mackerel, which I didn't expect at all.
From early this August, when the beginning of Japanese barracuda, I mostly didn't need to use scattered bait. However, it had decreased to about one-third because I used it sometimes.
If I had it more, I would have caught more horse mackerel.

9/26 釣果

The result of fishing on an International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons.

I took half a day's leave for fishing. Big fishes, Hong Kong grouper or possibly small Japanese amberjack, were very active today. They were too vigorous to handle them well. I lost some fishing lines and hooks.

I might have fished more Hong Kong grouper, but three big ones were enough.

I shouldn't have gone. The wave was a little high, hooks and lines tangled disastrously, and fishes were small.

The result of fishing on the Independence Day of Qatar.

Today's Hong Kong grouper is 34cm. Each of today's biggest ones is gradually becoming smaller. 43 to 39 to 34.
I could catch Japanese barracuda and horse mackerel without scattered bait, as always. However, I tried fishing with scattered bait, expecting any changes. I think this bait lured three-line grunts.

The result of fishing on the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova.

I couldn't go fishing during the summer holidays. The direct reason was the abnormally big wave despite the forecast had been 0.5 m. The indirect reason was the passing through of typhoons, I suppose.
I think the last year August was the same situation.
Anyway, it was good that the Japanese barracuda became suitably big. 

I saw the very local rain from my boat.

As usual in early August, I caught Japanese barracuda, small. Also, I caught many small threeline grunts, almost all released, but I thought it might be as tasty as horse mackerel and picked bigger ones.

7/27 釣果

The result of fishing on a Watermelon day.

I expected big bites like the last fishing day. But today was completely different from that day. Fish was not active, and very small horse mackerel was caught. I was so disappointed.
After I gave up flathead, I started fishing rockfish, and I caught a 43cm Hongkong grouper at the very last moment!

7/23 釣果

There was a big bite a while from starting, and the string was broken, and I lost the device. I had no spares. I didn't use scattered bait at all.
Though there were another two big bites, I couldn't fish them up.
I have to try again soon.

Horse mackerel were caught well today. Even hands-off and left the rod on, without scattered bait, they bit the hook without cautiousness.

There was an angler caught a small flathead.

I caught many mackerels, perhaps sized at most twenty centimetres. It seemed sardine fry were springing up, and mackerels were feeding on them. I released them because they were supposed not such taste good.
I expected sillago today, but disappointingly, they were still absent.

Umm, it's uninteresting. There used to be an expectation of catching big ones by horse mackerel, but no sign at all nowadays. Also, it is too easy to catch horse mackerel. I released many small ones.

Well, it was normal. My new rockfish rod is very light and slim, almost raising anxiety, but no problem.
Many fishermen were on the shore, but seemingly they had a hard time. I have already given up Sillago, so I quit before seven.

It is rare catching Japanese barracuda at this time, but I experience it once. It was before I started this blog. My father says they come to spawn. Maybe he's right, but I don't know.
After fishing them, I tried to catch rockfish, but all of them I caught were small. Then tried Sillago, but there was no one bite.
I wasted my time the last two hours.

I released some small scorpionfishes.

Something black stuff upped and downed at the east near wave-dissipating blocks. I guessed someone was diving to catch shellfish, but it was a dolphin!

This is the second time I saw a dolphin while fishing. I don't remember when the first time, but it must be before I started this blog.

5/3 釣果

The result of fishing on World Press Freedom Day.

I went fishing on the same day last year. Unlike that day, I was on the sea right time, so I caught many horse mackerel as above. Last year I got one, but this year I fished two greenlings.

The biggest horse mackerel was 30cm. The bottom yellowish one is male greenling. 

青森

The fortieth prefecture is Aomori. When I heard we would have a task in Aomori, I told my colleagues I would take it. The reason was that I had never been to Aomori, of course. There was no appropriate reason for them to comply with my wish, however, they kindly admitted.

The 八甲田山 (Mt. Hakkouda), also famous from the film, must be in the picture. I found mysterious lands, neither paddy nor cultivated fields, but short grasses spread. It looked like a pasture, but no domestic animals.

I wanted to eat niboshi-ramen, which the colour is silver, but the shop didn't have it. The above is mere soy-source ramen in dried fish broth.

I wished I would stay in the neighbour prefecture Iwate, which was supposed to be the forty-first, after the task, but communication flaws with my boss prevented it.
