The result of fishing on a Konjak's day.

I caught a big Hong Kong grouper, it's size was 40cm!

The place was same as last fishing (eastern side). The place we usual played become not good.

「夢見る葦笛」読了

There are various ideas and interesting contemporary themes, and I enjoyed.

Next book is "The Arrows of Time" written by Greg Egan. I feel this series is so difficult for me but I had bought it. Whew, anyway this is the last one.

映画「ディスタービア」

自分だったら、隣近所を覗くという行為がそもそも怖くて出来ないわ。甘いのと楽しいのと怖いのとで、まあ楽しめた。

First of all, I wouldn't peep into the neighborhood because terribly scary at all. There were sweets, funs and scares. Well, I enjoyed.

ローマ字の日の釣果。

アジは４０匹以上、東側で釣れた。

おお！なんだこれは！！題名みて、なんとなくたいしたことないだろうなと思ってたら、凄く面白かった。なんなんだこれは！

Oh! What is this!! When I saw the title, somehow I thought it would not be so interesting but unexpectedly it was great. What on Earth is this!

映画「マッチポイント」

浮気して困ったことになるありきたりな話かと思いきや、意外な結末。

I thought that it was an ordinary story becoming troubled by cheating.
However, the unexpected ending was interesting.

映画「ワン・デイ 23年のラブストーリー」

またアン・ハサウェイか！嫌いじゃないけど。アン・ハサウェイの七変化が面白いかな。

It's Anne Hathaway again! However, I don't dislike her (I mean I like her).
I think that the interesting is her various changes.

「あなたの人生の物語」再読了

映画「メッセージ」とどう関係しているのか確認しようと思って再読したのだけど、うーん、いまいち分からない。正直「全然違うじゃねーか」って言いたかったのに、そうでもなさそうなので意気消沈。

次は上田早夕里「夢見る葦笛」。ハードＳＦではなさそうなんだけど、まあ、読んでみよう。

Re-reading 'Story of Your Life'
I wanted to know the relationship between the story and the film 'Arrival'. Therefore I re-read 'Story of Your Life'. Ummm...I don't know yet.
Honestly, I wanted to say 'it's quite different!' but maybe it's not so. I disappointed.

Next book is '夢見る葦笛' written by 上田早夕里. It may not be a hard SF, anyway I'll try.

Somehow It was good. Something like an "It's okay, it's not so bad."

途中で観るのを止めようかと思ったが、最後まで観て良かった。後半になるにつれて面白くなってくる、癒やし系(?)映画。

I thought to stop watching it in halfway, but after all, it was good to watch to the end. It became interesting as it got closer to the end. It was a kind of healing film.

映像が良かった。このドラマをうまいこと映画にできることに感心。

The images were good. I was impressed that they were able to make such a story into a film.

映画「バンテージ・ポイント」

自宅、字幕。
米大統領狙われすぎ。この類いの映画が説得力ないと思うのは、テロリストの計画がある程度実行されてしまうこと。そうでなきゃ映画にならないのはわかるけど。

Vantage Point
At home, with subtitles.
U.S. President is targeted too much. I think there was no reality that the terrorist's plan was executed halfway through. However, I understand if it not so, the story couldn't make up.

映画「パッセンジャーズ」

自宅、字幕。
無理矢理なストーリー展開に途中イラッとしたけど、なるほどそういうオチなんだね。９０分という短さは納得。

Passengers

The unordinary storyline little irritated me but I understood the reason at last. I think 90 minutes long was fit to it.

映画「ハリケーン アワー」

自宅、字幕。
観ながら、災害大国の日本の災害パニック映画ってなにがあるだろうって思った。自然災害なら「日本沈没」ぐらいかなあ。

While watching, I thought that what sort of the disaster panic films are there in Japan where there are so many disasters? If it is a natural disaster, 'Japan Sinks', I Think.

「オービタル・クラウド」読了

面白かった。これってハードＳＦと言っていいよね？なんでハードＳＦとしてあまり紹介されていないのだろう。

次はテッド・チャン「あなたの人生の物語」を再読。映画「メッセージ」の原案？になっているらしいけど予告編を見る限り、全く違う話のような気がして確認のため。

It was interesting. This must be a hard SF, Isn't it? I wonder why it is not introduced as a hard SF.

Next book is 'Story of Your Life' again written by Ted Chiang. I want to know that the film 'Arrival' is really based on the story. I think it is a different one.

役者達が良かった。シリアスな物語が重すぎず描かれた映画（なんてね）。

The actors were good. The story was serious, but It was not expressed too seriously (it's just my opinion).

Oh well, people love zombies so much. There is no doubt, their desire is just to fire a gun.

コメディ・ドラマ映画とのことだけど、全く笑えない。

They say it is a comedy drama, but I couldn't laugh at all.

映像は良いと思うが、話のテンポが悪い感じがした。
ああ、なるほど、３Ｄで観るべき映画なんだな。

I think the image was quite good, but the tempo of the story was bad.
Oh...I see. I should have watch 3D version.

ラスト近くの葛藤シーンがやっぱり印象に残った。

The mental conflict scenes in near the last remained impressive as expected.

映画「キャビン」

主演のクリステン・コノリーがめっちゃ可愛い。シガニー・ウィーバーのラスボス感が最高。ストーリーも凝っていて面白かった。

The Cabin in the Woods
The leading actor, Kristen Connolly was absolutely cute. The 'final boss' aura of Sigourney Weaver was awesome. Also, the elaborate storyline was interesting.

分かったような分からなかったような･･･。謎の映画。

I thought it might be understood or might be not. It was complicated one.

久しぶりの登場人物全員不幸映画。全員の物語の結末が印象的だった。

It's been a while. It was a film that all characters become unhappy. The each ending of them was impressive.

みどりの日の釣果。

例年通り、カサゴがよく釣れた。アイナメ１匹。カレイも狙ったがアタリはなし。

As same as former years, we caught many marbled rockfishes. One greenling. We targeted flounder, but no bite.

いい。ユニークであることは本当にいいと思う。

自宅、字幕。
良かった。いいＳＦ映画ちゃんとあるじゃない。知らなかっただけだった。Windows95の時代だったら理解できないんだろうな。

It was good. Good SF films exactly exist. It was only I didn't know. I guess it would not be understandable in the age of Windows 95.

デストピアな映画。ラストシーンは良かった。泣いた。

It's a dystopian film. The last scene was good. I cried.

映画「うた魂♪」

自宅。
自分大好きで目立ちたがりやで何が悪いのか、と思ったけど中学のときにそんな奴がいて、嫌われてたなあ。こういう作品は粗探しせずに楽しめばいいと思ってる。とにかく夏帆が可愛い。

What's wrong with someone who loves oneself and be show-off? That was what I thought but I remembered him of a junior high school student who was such a man and was disliked. I think we should just enjoy such a film without faultfinding. Anyway, Kaho was so pretty.

映画「複製された男」

自宅、字幕。
意味不明。普通自分と完全にそっくりな人間を見つけたら、気持ちは上がるだろう。ＤＮＡを調べるとか、出生の謎を探るとか、あるでしょう？シュールな映画なんだろうけど、登場人物達の行動が理解できないせいで、疑問で頭が一杯になる。

Enemy

It didn't make sense at all. Normally, if you find a man who is entirely similar to yourself, your feelings would rise. You would investigate DNA, or would try to solve the mystery of his birth, or would do something. Am I right? Even though it would be a surrealist film, I couldn't understand the behavior of the characters, therefore my head filled with questions.

映画「エンド・オブ・キングダム」

自宅、字幕。
合衆国の超人的なシークレットサービスがテロリストをボコる映画。ただそれだけ。どんだけ人死ぬねん。

London Has Fallen
At home, with subtitles.
It was a film that the super secret service of United States beat the hell out terrorists. That was all. What the hell so many people are dying?

映画「天空の蜂」

自宅。
ラストシーンが良かった。単純な話ではない、色々考えさせられる所が良いと思った。

The last scene was interesting. It's not a simple story, and it makes me think many things, which is an attractive stuff of it, I think.

若さがまぶしいってやつだな。

映画「ダウンタウン物語」

ジョディ・フォスター（当時１４才）が圧倒的に印象に残る。しかしあの車（自転車）なかなかいいかも。

Jodie Foster (14 at the time) was overwhelmingly impressive. By the way, that car (bicycle) may be quite good.
