I came to Nagasaki through Saga for the first time. It was of course for the job the same as Okinawa.

This is a famous Sasebo burger.
In Saga, I bought just a PET bottle tea at a highway rest area.

I came to Okinawa the first time. Of course for the job.

It was good that it was not so hot and foods were delicious. I bought a pair of small Shisa. They got a job of protecting my house from invisible evil.

9/10 釣果

There was no Japanese Barracuda. This case rarely happens. That's no problem; I'm going to eat meat.

The result of fishing on a '男はつらいよ' day.

Many Japanese barracudas were caught as usual. Today, I didn't feel done the fishing because of too short time.

It took over three weeks. Last time, it took over two weeks. This is just a record.

I had finished reading just one short story, took over two weeks. I am disappointed that I don't know English words at all. I don't have a reading ability either. It seems it's a big mistake that I have begun to read English book. Anyway, I will keep reading.

7/15 釣果

The result of fishing on a Family Computer's day.

I began from just before sunrise, about 4 am, then I caught many horse mackerels without shrimps. A big fish, maybe flounder, baited once but I couldn't catch up. Anyway, It becomes hot soon.

「アロウズ・オブ・タイム」読了

It took over a month. Yes, I'm a very slow reader. Mostly, I couldn't understand. I wonder why did I read this? Well, because it's a Greg Egan's work.

Next book is "Oceanic" written by Greg Egan again. It's the first time to read the original rather than translation.

We have caught baby horse mackerels as same as last time. I want more sillagos! I am frustrated a little.

6/20 釣果

The result of fishing on a Peppermint's day.

Instead of big horse mackerels as we caught then, there were some baby horse mackerels. Sillagos were good sizes but there were few.

I caught a big Hong Kong grouper, it's size was 40cm!

The place was same as last fishing (eastern side). The place we usual played become not good.

「夢見る葦笛」読了

There are various ideas and interesting contemporary themes, and I enjoyed.

Next book is "The Arrows of Time" written by Greg Egan. I feel this series is so difficult for me but I had bought it. Whew, anyway this is the last one.

「あなたの人生の物語」再読了

映画「メッセージ」とどう関係しているのか確認しようと思って再読したのだけど、うーん、いまいち分からない。正直「全然違うじゃねーか」って言いたかったのに、そうでもなさそうなので意気消沈。

次は上田早夕里「夢見る葦笛」。ハードＳＦではなさそうなんだけど、まあ、読んでみよう。

I wanted to know the relationship between the story and the film 'Arrival'. Therefore I re-read 'Story of Your Life'. Ummm...I don't know yet.
Honestly, I wanted to say 'it's quite different!' but maybe it's not so. I disappointed.

米大統領狙われすぎ。この類いの映画が説得力ないと思うのは、テロリストの計画がある程度実行されてしまうこと。そうでなきゃ映画にならないのはわかるけど。

U.S. President is targeted too much. I think there was no reality that the terrorist's plan was executed halfway through. However, I understand if it not so, the story couldn't make up.

無理矢理なストーリー展開に途中イラッとしたけど、なるほどそういうオチなんだね。９０分という短さは納得。

The unordinary storyline little irritated me but I understood the reason at last. I think 90 minutes long was fit to it.

観ながら、災害大国の日本の災害パニック映画ってなにがあるだろうって思った。自然災害なら「日本沈没」ぐらいかなあ。

「オービタル・クラウド」読了

面白かった。これってハードＳＦと言っていいよね？なんでハードＳＦとしてあまり紹介されていないのだろう。

次はテッド・チャン「あなたの人生の物語」を再読。映画「メッセージ」の原案？になっているらしいけど予告編を見る限り、全く違う話のような気がして確認のため。

It was interesting. This must be a hard SF, Isn't it? I wonder why it is not introduced as a hard SF.

Next book is 'Story of Your Life' again written by Ted Chiang. I want to know that the film 'Arrival' is really based on the story. I think it is a different one.

The leading actor, Kristen Connolly was absolutely cute. The 'final boss' aura of Sigourney Weaver was awesome. Also, the elaborate storyline was interesting.

自分大好きで目立ちたがりやで何が悪いのか、と思ったけど中学のときにそんな奴がいて、嫌われてたなあ。こういう作品は粗探しせずに楽しめばいいと思ってる。とにかく夏帆が可愛い。

What's wrong with someone who loves oneself and be show-off? That was what I thought but I remembered him of a junior high school student who was such a man and was disliked. I think we should just enjoy such a film without faultfinding. Anyway, Kaho was so pretty.

意味不明。普通自分と完全にそっくりな人間を見つけたら、気持ちは上がるだろう。ＤＮＡを調べるとか、出生の謎を探るとか、あるでしょう？シュールな映画なんだろうけど、登場人物達の行動が理解できないせいで、疑問で頭が一杯になる。

Enemy

It didn't make sense at all. Normally, if you find a man who is entirely similar to yourself, your feelings would rise. You would investigate DNA, or would try to solve the mystery of his birth, or would do something. Am I right? Even though it would be a surrealist film, I couldn't understand the behavior of the characters, therefore my head filled with questions.

It was a film that the super secret service of United States beat the hell out terrorists. That was all. What the hell so many people are dying?

ラストシーンが良かった。単純な話ではない、色々考えさせられる所が良いと思った。

4/30 釣果

図書館記念日の釣果。

全てホタルイカで。アジはいなかった。去年の初釣りはもっとカサゴが釣れたけど、まあ初釣りはこんなもんかな。

偶然また北川景子。少女漫画のありがちな展開が苦手、なんだけど後半から面白くなってきた。なんだか北川景子物語を観ているような錯覚に。

Unintentionally, Kitagawa Keiko again. I don't like the common story of girls' manga but it became interesting from the latter half. I had some feelings that I had been watching a story of Kitagawa Keiko.

すっかり、気持ちよく騙された。映像作品の醍醐味だな。

面白かった。SF映画としてよくできてると思った。セットが良くて映像も良いしストーリーも面白い。ラストシーンで泣いた。

It was interesting. I think it was made well as SF film. The set decoration was splendid, images were good, and the story was interesting. I cried at the last scene.

昔見たような気がするけど覚えていない。サスペンスとほどよいアクションとジュリア・ロバーツということで、まあ、見応えはある。

Maybe I have watched it before, but I don't remember. Well, it's worth watching because of the suspense, some action, and Julia Roberts.

どうも江戸時代を美化している気がして素直に良いとは言えないけど、ハッピーエンドなのは良いね。

My anxiety was heat shock by suddenly becoming summer(?)...Who cares. I thought that the fantastic images were good.

It was incomprehensible. I felt that the images and the music were not matched. It might be an experimental film, perhaps.

およそ２０年前のジブリアニメだけど初めて観た。うーん、やっぱり古臭い。そして青臭い。アラフィフが観る映画ではないな。

１ヶ月ちょっとかかった。案の定わけわからず。

次はポール・アンダースン「タウ・ゼロ」。ハードＳＦ好きとしては読んでおかないといかんと思って。

Next book is Tau Zero written by Poul Anderson. I think I must read it as a hard SF freak.

自宅。２０１４年の日本映画。
自殺で親族への臓器移植ができるか疑問だったけど、なるほど、その手があったか。初めて観たはずなのに、なぜか既視感があったのが不思議。

I wonder in a case of suicide, is organ transplantation possible to the kindred? Oh, I see, there is a way. Although it should be the first time I watched this, it was strange that there was a sense of deja vu.

Maybe for the first time, but I'm not sure. Considering the film was made in 60 years ago, I thought that the cinematography was amazing at the time.

金のかかっている映画はさすがに楽しませるねぇ。アクションシーンも鬱陶しくなく楽しめてよかった。

The film which spent much money made us fun as expected. Also, the action scenes were not annoying, and it was enjoyable and good.

たぶん２回目。かなり前に初めて観たが、盗聴屋が盗聴される話というのは覚えていた。あと、それほど面白くなかったというのも記憶にあるのになんでまた観たんだろう。

Maybe for the second times. I watched it long ago, I remember the story that a wiretapper was wiretapped. Also, I remember it was not so interesting. I wonder why did I watch again?

またどうせ漫画原作か！と勘違いしてすみません。ほぼホラーなストーリーが凄い。

Sorry to misunderstand that the original was a manga as usual again. The amazing story was almost horror.

映画「真白の恋」

映画館。
監督と出演者の舞台挨拶があった。初めて舞台挨拶というものを生で見た。出演者が大きなスクリーンで観るのは初めて、と言っていたのはちょっと驚いた。そんなものなのか。立山のシーン以外は１１日で撮影したというのも驚き。
切ない物語だが最後はさわやかな気分になった。

There were greetings by film director and actors. I saw the stage greetings the first time. I was little surprised that the actors said they watch the first time on a big screen. Is that normal? I was also surprised that except for the scene of Tateyama, they took the pictures in 11 days. It was a story of sorrow, but I had bracing feelings at last.

推理物で定評もあって、間違いなく面白いだろうと思ったら、やっぱり面白かった。

It was a mystery film which had an established reputation. I had a conviction that it would be interesting. As a matter of course, it was interesting.

It was a film to watch Elizabeth Taylor. It was a film for the enlightenment-contraception. It was a film that all characters become unhappy.

人の内面を描いた人間ドラマが素晴らしいと思った。５０年前の映画だけど、今でも黒人の問題を取り上げる映画が作られているという事実。

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner

I thought it was an amazing human drama that expressed people's mind. It was made 50 years ago, although there is a fact that films which deal with race problems still have been made today.

ジャズについて語るところが面白かった。そうなんだよなぁ。

It was interesting that he talked about Jazz. Yeah, I know.

映画「グランド・ブダペスト・ホテル」

自宅、字幕。
なんだかちょっと変な映画。「バロン」っぽい感じ。スキーとそりの追っかけシーンは笑った。

The Grand Budapest Hotel

It was a somewhat strange film. The feeling was like 'The Adventures of Baron Munchausen'. The chase scene of ski and sled was laughable.

とにかく女の子が可愛い。激しく感情を揺さぶられたりはしないが、面白い、心地よい映画。

First of all, the girl was very cute. It did not stir the emotions strongly, it was a funny and pleasant film.

まあまあかな。またアクションシーンに食傷気味になるかとおもったが、それほどでもなかった。しかし、ＳＦファンを唸らせるようなＳＦ映画には出会えないな。

Not bad, I think. I was afraid that I was surfeited with the action scenes, but it was not so. However, It's difficult to find SF film that makes SF fans admire.

なんだか妙な映画。低俗で支離滅裂な感じだが、なぜか観ていられる。ドナルド・サザーランドの存在感が印象的。

M*A*S*H

It was a something queer film. It was vulgar and confusing, but somehow, I was able to keep watching. It was impressive that Donald Sutherland had a strong presence.

ベン・スティラーの映画は好き。これも面白かった。映像の色合いが美しい。クリステン・ウィグも相変わらず魅力的。

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

I like Ben Stiller's films. It was interesting as well. The colouring of the images was beautiful. Kristen Wiig was attractive as always.

初めて見たので、ミステリーとして楽しめた。ラッキー。

I have watched this the first time, so I enjoyed as a mystery. I was lucky.

何か物足りない気がした。もっとドラマがあってもいいんじゃないの？

面白くなかった。テーマがあるのは分かるのだけど、もう時代が違うということだろう。

美しい田舎の映像と静かなストーリーが良かった。料理で言えば「やさしい味」の映画。

The beautiful country images and quiet story were good. If compare it to a cuisine, it was a mild taste film.

ジーン・ワイルダーといえば広川太一郎。ほろ酔い状態で見るのにちょうどよかった。金が掛かっていないようで金が掛かっている映画（wiki参考）。

Speaking of Gene Wilder, Hirokawa Taichiro comes to mind. It was suitable that to watch in the state of slight intoxication. The film seemed not spent much money, but contrarily it spent much money. (cf. Wikipedia)

うーん、ちょっと難しかった。おっ、カンバーバッチじゃん。

Ummm, it was incomprehensible a bit. Oh! Cumberbatch.

映画「リバティ・バランスを射った男」

これは面白い。映画の面白さが詰まっていると思う。やたらと人が死なないのも良い、と思ったら死んだ人の数が・・・おお！

It was interesting. It filled with the various interest of films, I thought. It was also good that people not died profusely. How many people died? ... What!

「ＴＡＰ」読了

奇想小説といえば、筒井康隆や小松左京のものをよく読んだなあと思い出した。ハードＳＦなイーガンらしいのもあったし、まあ良かったかな。

次は予定通り、グレッグ・イーガン「エターナル・フレイム」。まあ、気負わずゆっくり読もう。

Speaking of a novel of a bizarre idea, I remembered that I had read well Tsutsui Yasutaka and Komatsu Sakyo's stuff. There was stuff that it was very Egan as a hard SF writer. Well, It was interesting.

Next book is 'The Eternal Flame' written by Greg Egan as I planned. Well, I will read slowly without tension.

映画「ばしゃ馬さんとビッグマウス」

現実にはかなりイタい女の話であって、痛ましくて見てられないはずが、麻生久美子のせいで（おかげで）最後まで見てしまう映画。

It must hard to watch because of her patheticness. However, owing to (thanks to) Aso Kumiko, I could watch it until the end.

映画「１６ブロック」

自宅、吹替。
まあ、面白かった。しかし特に印象に残るようなものは無いかな。あえていちゃもんつけると、タイヤをパンクさせられて止まったバスが、無理矢理に動き出すのはどうなんだろう。

Well, It was interesting. However, there was nothing particularly impressive, I thought. I dare to find fault, it was curious that the bus which was stopped by blowout forcibly started to move.

うーん。どうもアクションシーンが派手過ぎる気がするのだけど、こんなもんなのかな。

Ummm. I felt that the action scene was too showy. Is it ordinary?

映画館。
ちょっと待て。その終わり方はおかしいだろ。原作読者をがっかりさせるのもいい加減にせーよ。

Give me a break. What was that ending? That's enough! Stop making the original reader disappointed.

映画「ハッピーフライト」

自宅。
魅力的な役者達が勢揃い。なかでも、なぜか田中哲司が印象に残った。
リアルっぽいのが良いね。

Attractive actors got together. Among them, Tanaka Tetsuji was somehow impressive. It was good that it looked like real.

映画「映画クレヨンしんちゃん 嵐を呼ぶアッパレ！戦国大合戦」

自宅。久しぶりにレンタル。
これってほぼ大人向けじゃね？やっぱりストーリーが素晴らしい。映像も良い。ディテールとかも最高。

It was almost for adult, right? First of all, the story was amazing. The Images were good too. Also, such things as details were great.

映画「世界侵略：ロサンゼルス決戦」

自宅、吹替。
おっＳＦ？と思ったけど、全く自分が思うＳＦテイストは無く、米空軍のプロパガンダ映画でした。昔アメリカのオーディオ雑誌を誰かに買ってきてもらったのだけど、その雑誌に軍の広告があって驚いたことを思い出した。

What, SF? I had thought, but there wasn't the taste of SF which I recognize at all. It was a propaganda film of US Air Force. Long ago, I had American audio magazines bought by someone, and I remembered I was surprised that it contained publicity of the US army.

映画「昼下がりの決斗」

サム・ペキンパーはどういうことろが評価されているのだろう。男どもの剥き出しの欲望がキモイのは作者の意図通りか。劇中の音楽は良いような気がした。

Ride the High Country
At home, dubbed in Japanese.
I wonder what are the high values of Sam Peckinpah? The men's naked desires were disgusting, that might be as the director intended. I felt that the music was good.

映画「悪名」「続 悪名」

自宅。
１作目はスリリングな展開で面白かった。それに比べて２作目はちょっと劣る気がした。
中村玉緒がなんだかかわいい。勝新も。
パート２がいまいちになる理由が分かった気がした。１作目を観ていない人のために、説明的になるからだと思う。

The first one was interesting which had a thrilling story development. I felt that the second one was little worse than first one. Nakamura Tamao was somewhat pretty. Katsu-shin too. I think I know the reason why the part 2 is not so good. Because it becomes to explanatory for who didn't watch the part 1, I think.

「叛逆航路」読了

面白かった。どこかでハードＳＦと紹介されていたけど、解説にある通り本格宇宙ＳＦだね。
遠未来ＳＦといえば「ディアスポラ」を思い起こすけど、こんな未来も想起できるＳＦ作家ってすごい。

次はグレッグ・イーガン「ＴＡＰ」。「エターナル・フレイム」を読む前にウォーミングアップ。

Reading 'Ancillary Justice'.
It was interesting. It had introduced as a hard SF, however, it was an authentic cosmic SF as write in the commentary. Speaking of far distant future SF, 'DIASPORA' comes to my mind, SF writers who can also imagine this such a future is amazing.

Next book is 'TAP' written by Greg Egan. I am going to warm up before reading 'Eternal Flame'.

たぶん２回目。結構淡々とした映像だけど、ストーリーが良くて面白い。

Maybe for the second time. The images were rather plain, but the story was good and interesting.

映画「ソラニン」

自宅。
偶然音楽関連が続いた。何といっても宮﨑あおいが可愛いのはいいのだが、音楽も良かった。あとベースの音が良かった。演者本人が弾いているのかな。

Unintentionally, a film related to music went on. After all, Miyazaki Aoi was pretty, that aside, the music was good. Also, the sound of the base was good. I wonder did the actor also play?

映画「グッモーエビアン!」

酔っぱらってるときに観たせいで内容覚えてない。とりあえず三吉彩花、能年玲奈が可愛いかったのは覚えている。

I don't remember the detail because I had drunk. Anyway, I remember that Miyoshi Ayaka and Nounen Rena were pretty.

良かった。「出来の良い映画」と思った。

ひどい。興行成績が良かったというのが信じられない。邦題もひどい。

Terrible. I can't believe that the office-box was good. The Japanese title was also terrible.

映画「12人の優しい日本人」

自宅。
理性的であるべき陪審員達が感情まるだしで大騒ぎする茶番劇。不快。

It was a farce that the jurors who should be rational make a fuss with bare their feelings. It was unpleasant.

映画「新宿スワン」

自宅。
現実とはかけ離れているらしいけど、面白かった。喧嘩のシーンが多かったけど、必要なの？

They say the story was distant from reality, though it was interesting. There were many fight scene. Were these necessary?

映画「バイオハザード」

ストーリーが全く納得いかない。ミラ・ジョヴォヴィッチを観る映画。あの三白眼の人苦手。

The story was unconvinced at all. It was a film for watching Milla Jovovich. I don't like that Sanpaku person.

アクションシーンがなんか苦手になってきた。カメラが揺れて躍動感を出す演出も、なんだか飽きてきた。

Somewhat, I have felt tired of the action scenes. I have become weary of the effects which the camera shakes and gives a feeling of dynamism.

阿部寛がクズだったり、そうじゃなくなったりがいまいち理解できない。

クリスマスを過ぎて年明けにこれを観るっていう時季外れさがなんとも・・・。
能天気でハイテンションなのがいい。

Unseasonably, I had watched this in early in the New Year, pass through Christmas. It was good that it was slap-happy and exciting.

なんか変な映画だと思ったら、クリント・イーストウッドの初監督作品だとは。納得。

Play Misty for Me

I thought it was a somewhat queer film. This was the first directed work of Clint Eastwood. I see.

「コロロギ岳から木星トロヤへ」読了

この作者は、なんとしてでも時間を超える物語を書きたいのかな。
良いと思います。

次はアン・レッキー「叛逆航路」。受賞歴を見ると、もう絶対面白そう！

It seems that the writer necessarily wants to write the time traveling stories. It was good, I think.
Next book is 'Ancillary Justice' written by Ann Leckie. It will be certainly interesting one because of the awards.

映画「モテキ」

自宅。
「ヒロイン失格」は気持ち悪くて見られなかったのに、これは気持ち悪さが逆に気持ちよく感じられて面白かった。

I couldn't watch 'ヒロイン失格' because of the nastiness but this was interesting.  This nastiness was felt good on the contrary.

映画「パリ、テキサス」

カンヌ国際映画祭でパルム・ドールを受賞した作品でなかったら、たぶん見ない。ロードムービーらしいといえばそうなんだろうけど。ナスターシャ・キンスキーが可愛い。

Probably, I wouldn't watch it if it didn't win the Palm Doll at the International Cannes Film Festival. Certainly,  it was a very road film as they say. Nastassja Kinski was pretty.

昨日観た「アウトブレイク」にも、偶然レネ・ルッソという女優が出ていた。レネ・ルッソブーム？

In the Line of Fire

Unintentionally, an actor named Rene Russo also appeared in the film 'Outbreak' which I watched yesterday. Rene Russo boom? John Malkovich was good as always.
